Frank Boden is our Farrier here, he is gentle & patient.

Our Farrier works hard!

Hands on is what it's all about!

Friends and Neighbours Helping

The wilds rarely get their hooves trimmed until they can be calmed down, used to people around them and that's when the basics can begin.

Friends and Neighbours Helping

Having special neighbours and friends that come to visit help us to acclimate these incredible wilds

Having special neighbours and friends that come to visit help us to acclimate these incredible wilds.  Their ability to learn people are safe and kind is very important as their instinct is to flee from humans.

Hands on is what it's all about!

Our goal here is to bring in the wilds (pregnant) some with foals at their sides and sometimes just orphans.

We don't get alot of hands on, we are more about letting them learn to trust humans, other animals, vehicles, farm equipment, noises... .and have them ready to start their new lives when the right human family comes along to adopt them.

Hands on is what it's all about!

We get right in the middle of helping anyone here needing assistance from vet care to hoof trims.... It's about helping the horses to learn to love and trust.  that's the beginning....

Keeping up on hoof trimming is important!

Casey & Cher's April 2019 trim by Frank Boden. They stood well beyond expectations even though Cher is 27 years old with a sore hip.

Artie's Second trim!
